Working through its Wholesale Beverage Division, Jacques Scott is the Islands’ largest distributor of wine, beer and spirits.
The finest French, Italian and American wines
(including Antinori,
Gaja, Bertani, Moet
& Chandon, Jadot, Drouhin, Jolivet, Guigal, Ridge, Shafer
and Beringer, to name just a few) make up the bulk of the company’s
wine-import business. We also import wines from Australia, New
Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Germany and South Africa, and
draw up wine lists for many of the top local restaurants.
Jacques Scott is also the exclusive distributor
for Heineken,
Cayman’s best-selling beer. Our beer distribution also
takes in Coors
Light, made in the United States, Amstel
Light, Presidente (the biggest selling beer in the Caribbean)
and a range of beers from Labatt
Breweries of Canada. We are also an exclusive distributor
for the world’s largest drinks company Diageo,
maker of spirits such as Smirnoff
Vodka, Johnnie
Walker, Crown
Royal Canadian Whisky and Baileys
Irish Cream, to mention but a few. Also represented is Appleton
Rum, the most popular rum in the Cayman Islands.
The Wholesale Food Division boasts goods from manufacturers worldwide, spanning everything from breakfast cereals to mineral waters. The company is an exclusive distributor for Nestlé, the world’s leading food group, and Kraft Foods. We stock a comprehensive range of their products, including Carnation milk, Nescafé coffee, Maggi soups, Planters peanuts and Nabisco snacks and bakery products.
The third of our four divisions, Island
Supply Company Limited, provides food, catering and food-service
supplies to hotels, restaurants and institutions in Cayman.
It designs and installs complete kitchens and bar equipment
for clients. It has an attractive showroom that is open to both
the trade and general public, displaying commercial equipment
for home use.
Under our Retail
Wines & Spirits Division, the company operates six stores
throughout Grand Cayman. Three are duty-paid wine and spirits
outlets in the George Town/Seven Mile Beach areas, including
the renowned Jacques Scott Fine Wine Store, and one has recently
moved to a new shopping mall location in Savannah. We also run
the biggest duty-free
store in the departure lounge of Grand Cayman’s Owen Roberts
International Airport, as well as a gift store in the check-in
area.
Lastly, we have a share in four duty-free
liquor stores in George Town.
