Mimosa Recipe with Prosecco
Total Time: 2 minutes
Makes 8 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of prosecco (chilled)
- 3 cups (750 ml/24 oz.) of orange juice
Instructions:
- Fill the flutes halfway with prosecco.
- Top the flutes with orange juice.
- Serve.
NOTES:
- Use champagne flutes to preserve the bubbles; wine glasses are a secondary choice.
- Chill the glasses to avoid needing ice! You should also use chilled prosecco and orange juice.
- Buy pulp-free orange juice, or strain your fresh-squeezed orange juice. No one likes a pulp-filled mimosa.

Elevated Mimosa (Champagne Orange Cocktail)
Total Time: 5 minutes
Makes 8 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry Champagne or sparkling wine – any of the above are excellent options
- ½ cup Grand Marnier
- 3 cups orange juice
- 8 drops orange bitters
- Orange slice for garnish
Instructions:
- Fill eight champagne flutes halfway with Champagne or sparkling wine.
- Add 2 TBSP of Grand Marnier to each champagne flute.
- Top with orange juice.
- Add one drop of orange bitters to each champagne flute.
- Garnish with an orange slice to serve.
NOTES:
- Make a full pitcher for your party by pouring all of the ingredients into a pitcher.
- Vary your juices used in a mimosa, subbing pineapple, cranberry, or pink grapefruit juice for orange juice.
- Blend the orange juice with ice for a variation.
- Drop in a strawberry, raspberry, or cranberries into the champagne flute.
