Made from organic Agave, at least 9 years old, Clase Azul Tequila Plata begins with slow-cooked Tequilana Weber Blue Agave piñas that are fermented with a proprietary blend of yeasts. Distillation follows with a five-step refined water process, and the tequila is then filtered three times for the best quality. 

The finished tequila is then bottled in unique decanters that were hand-crafted by area artisans. Clase Azul Plata is one of the world’s finest tequilas and provides a multi-sensory experience for every glass.

History of Clase Azul

Founded in 1997, Clase Azul embraces a passion for tequila and the location, Guadalajara, Mexico. While the focus was primarily on batch production at first, the company released Clase Azul Reposado in 2000. 

The company grew its line to include Clase Azul Plata, Clase Azul Añejo, and Clase Azul Ultra. Today, the brand is one of the most popular in the arena.

Paloma

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. Clase Azul Tequila Plata
  • ½ oz. lime juice
  • Grapefruit soda
  • Lime wedge and salt
  • Lime slice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the serving glass by riming with lime and dipping in salt.
  2. Add the tequila and lime juice.
  3. Stir.
  4. Place the lime wedge inside the glass, along its side, and fill with ice.
  5. Top off with grapefruit soda and stir slightly.

Strawberry Mint Julep

Ingredients:

  • 1 strawberry
  • ¼ orange
  • ¼ lime (unpeeled)
  • ½ tsp sugar
  • 3 mint leaves

  • 4 oz. lemonade
  • Strawberry and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Using a shaker muddle the strawberry, orange, lime, sugar, and mint thoroughly.

  3. Fill with ice and shake well. 
  4. Strain into an iced serving glass.
  5. Garnish with a strawberry and mint sprig.

Salty Chihuahua

Ingredients:

  • Lime wedge
  • Lime salt
  • 1 ½ oz. Clase Azul Tequila Plata
  • 5 oz. lemonade

Instructions:

  1. Rim serving glass with lime wedge and dip in salt.
  2. Add ice to the glass.
  3. Add the Clase Azul and lemonade.
  4. Squeeze the lime wedge until juiced and leave the carcass in the glass.
