Introducing Love on Mars by Pied a Terre
The second vintage of Love on Mars was made in 2019, as an honorific of the icon David Bowie. The weather and temps of this vintage let the grapes have more time to ripen and produced terrific results.
The Cab grapes used for this vintage came from the Nimble vineyard in the mountains and Aunt Cathy’s vineyard in the valley at a ratio of 1:1. This combination provided the wine with balanced structure and depth.
The Love on Mars Cabernet Sauvignon is carefully selected from a larger batch. These 20 choice barrels matured faster and fuller than the rest of the batch. With only 15 ppm of sulfur added at bottling, this wine requires less time spent aging. Enjoy it right after bottling, or save for a bit. Either way, the experience will be “out of this world”!
Love on Mars by Pied a Terre is a limited batch with only 500 cases ever produced. Relish the adventure!
