The Rosé Experience

Rosé is the ideal wine for wine drinkers who enjoy the taste of red wine but prefer a lighter experience. Made from the same grapes as red wine but soaked with the skins for less time, rosé has a less intense flavor. Unlike other wines, rosé wines taste best in the first few years after it’s made.

Chill rosé before serving, and pour it into an appropriate stemmed glass. Whether you’re enjoying a dinner of light, spicy, or casual fare; a day spent basking in the sun; or a pre-meal aperitif, rosé is an excellent choice.

The OG of the wine world, rosé was first created around 7000 BC, thousands of years before red and white wines were created.

What you call rosé depends on where it’s from. If French, it’s Rosé; if Italian, it’s Rosato; and if Spanish, it’s Rosado. Regardless of location, it’s always good.

If you’re considering putting on your mad scientist jacket and mixing up your own rosé from red wines and white wines, you might make a blush wine but not a rosé. The two are different types of wines.

Rosé is a brisk and refreshing indulgence all on its own, but you can also use it to make delicious cocktails, including sangria!
