Not to be confused with Italy’s Pinot Grigio, the Pinot Gris vine of Alsace is descended from the Pinot Beurot, originally from Burgundy. Abundant ripe fruit on the nose and a creaminess on the palate are brought to life with subtle acidity. Softer and less challenging than other varieties, this wine is still totally dry.
