Livio Felluga Friulano

It is the traditional Friulian wine par excellence, with a strong personality and typicality. Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, this Friulano from Livio Felluga is one of the whites that reveal the region’s great white wine vocation. The grapes are harvested by hand when they are perfectly ripe, and the processing is superbly accurate, with temperature control and full respect for a simply magnificent raw material. After fermentation, the wine is kept on its lees in stainless steel containers for a period of about six months. This allows for greater complexity and a depth that is simply unique. With a good structure, this Friulano reveals a harmonious fruity and mineral complexity and a characteristic bitter almond aftertaste. Simply ideal as an aperitif, it is a wine that goes very well with a wide variety of dishes. Excellent with the classic San Daniele prosciutto, salami and sausages in general, it is also a pleasant accompaniment to fish dishes. Try it with the classic fried fish.
