Pulenta Estate Gran Cabernet Franc

Cabernet Franc is a relatively recent variety in Argentina. Originally from the humid climate of Bordeaux (France), it has adapted exceptionally well to the high altitude vineyards (more than 2950 ft) and to the dry climate of the province of Mendoza, in the west of Argentina. It was planted in the 90’s to give strength to blends, without any plan for it to become a varietal in itself. Although the area planted with Cabernet Franc is minimal in relation to other reds, the variety excels in quality.
