Cayman Islands history was made recently when Goddess, the island’s first female-brewed beer, made its debut at Macabuca — and the buzz hasn’t stopped since.
What makes this even more special for us at Jacques Scott is that our very own Amba Lamb was part of the all-female team that brought Goddess to life. Crafted under the guidance of 19-81 Brewing Co. head brewer John Mather, Goddess was born in the spirit of International Women’s Day and in partnership with the UK-led Women on Tap initiative, which champions women entering the brewing industry. Amba’s involvement makes this more than just a beer we’re proud to stock — it’s a beer we’re proud to say we had a hand in creating. It’s a milestone for Cayman, and a proud moment for the Jacques Scott family.

What’s in the Can?
Goddess is a limited-edition New England Hazy IPA packing a bold 7.2% ABV. Pour it and you’re greeted with a rich, creamy body that opens with bright pineapple and lush stone fruit, deepening into layers of ripe apricot before finishing with a lively twist of tropical guava and pomelo. It’s refreshing, complex, and just balanced enough to make you reach for another.

Price range: KYD $3.00 through KYD $56.00
Why It Matters
The women behind Goddess didn’t just brew a beer — several of them have since been inspired to start their own brewing journeys. That’s the kind of ripple effect that changes an industry. Women on Tap exists to open doors in a space that has historically been male-dominated, and Goddess is Cayman’s contribution to that movement.
Where to Get It
Here’s the exciting part — Goddess is now available exclusively through Jacques Scott. Given its limited-edition nature and the incredible response since launch, this is your chance to get your hands on a piece of Cayman brewing history before it’s gone.
