Visit a Local Brewery

Take a tour of Cayman Islands Brewery (CIB), Cayman’s only brewery, to learn about their brewing process and sample their award-winning beers.

CIB produces regular and seasonal beers, including Caybrew, a full-bodied premium lager, Caybrew Premium Light, a premium light beer with only 95 calories, 345 Beer, a refreshing light lager that is one of the Islands’ most popular beers, and White Tip Lager, a moderate bodied pilsner and the world’s first conservation beer (part of the profits are donated to Cayman Marine Conservation).

Relax in a Great Bar

Craft Food & Beverage Company has a great selection of craft beers from around the world. At any given time, the beer menu features at least a dozen local and international beers on tap, as well as a large and unique selection of bottled beers from the United States, Europe and Canada.

Fidel Murphy’s Public House, Cayman’s oldest pub, is a great place to treat yourself to genuine Irish beer on tap. Their state-of-the-art draft system ensures the freshest draft beer on Island. They have other beers on tap, a selection of American, European and Canadian beers by the bottle, and excellent pub food.

KARoo has a good selection of local and international beers. Draft beers include Hoegaarden, Warsteiner and Stella Artois. European beers include Peroni, Tucher and Heineken. American brands include Blue Moon, Sierra Nevada, Harpoon IPA and Budweiser. As for food, they specialize in “little plates” and tapas.

We encourage you to keep in mind that it’s legal to have beer and open containers of alcohol on the beach in the Cayman Islands, but do not carry open containers in your car or in any public area that is not zoned for alcohol consumption. You can be fined on the spot. And don’t drink and drive, or you will risk being arrested.
