Reds
Cabernet Sauvignon: Cabernet Sauvignon is considered one of the world’s best varieties of red wine and is the most widely planted grape variety in Chile. Chardonnay: Chilean Chardonnay delivers the tropical fruit flavors you find in Californian Chardonnay, but these wines get an added burst thanks to Chile’s Pacific coastline and the cool ocean breezes. Expect notes of lemon, pineapple, baked stone-fruit, and meringue. Try the Viña Maipo 2016 Vitral Reserva Chardonnay. It has notes of pineapple, peach and vanilla with a long and delicious finish.
Sauvignon Blanc: One of the driest, crispest white wines, Chile makes some of the most popular Sauvignon Blanc wines in the world. They are light, refreshing, citrusy and enjoyable.
