Although the legal drinking age in Grand Cayman is 18, there are some rules and restrictions you should know about before you attempt to buy or drink alcohol as a minor in the Cayman Islands.
The Cayman government is strongly opposed to underage drinking, and you will be asked for photo ID at bars, restaurants and liquor stores. Merchants risk losing their liquor licenses if they sell alcohol to minors or allow residents or visitors younger than 18 to drink on their premises.
Anyone 18 or older can legally have an open container of alcohol on the beach in the Cayman Islands, but do not carry open containers in your car or in a public area that is not zoned for alcohol consumption. If caught, expect to be fined on the spot.
And, whether you’re 18, 40 or 75, don’t even think about drinking and driving. If you’re caught with a blood alcohol level above .10 (100 milligrams per 100 milliliters of blood), you could be arrested.

Place your online order before 3:00pm, and we’ll deliver it on the same day (Monday through Saturday). Or, you may pick up your order in our flagship store on Shedden Road. If we receive your order before 6:00pm, it will be available for pick-up until the store closes at 7:00pm.
