Appleton 12 Year Old Rare Blend – 1L

Previously known as Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Blend, this expression from the extraordinary Jamaican rum range is truly fantastic stuff. Matured for at least a dozen years in oak casks, this expression displays a marvellous flavour profile of ripe fruit, rich chocolate, molasses and more. The true expression of our Master Blender’s passion and craft. Its rare and hand-selected rums have all been aged for a minimum of 12 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica for a smooth and sophisticated expression of aged rum. This superb blend reveals aromas of toasted oak, dried fruit and hazelnut, followed by notes of dark cocoa, delicate molasses, orange peel, rich vanilla and hints of coffee.

Appleton Estate Rare Blend 12 Year Old is a ‘minimum age’ rum as indicated by the number 12 displayed on the bottle. The rum is aged in Number One Select American Oak barrels.
