Chateau Troplong Mondot 2017 offers a dense purple hue as well as powerful, unevolved aromas and flavors of pure crème de cassis, black cherries, graphite, gravelly earth, and tobacco. On the palate well structured with sweet berries and ripe plums, hints of mild spices and blackcurrant spurs, liquorice in the background.
