Ridge Pagani Ranch Zinfandel

This field blend is 90% zinfandel, 5% petite sirah, 5% Alicante Bouschet from mostly pre-prohibition vines planted and managed by the same family at Pagani Ranch, in California’s Sonoma Valley. The positioning of this vineyard means that it sits in an enclave that benefits from the cooling fogs that slip in from the coast for longer each morning. Pure and intense this wine has a bramble, damson and blueberry core that has well balanced but delicious fine oak notes, spice and balance with a long finish.
