Chateau Croix Canon (Saint Emilion Grand Cru)

This second wine from the iconic Château Canon is sourced from an 11-hectare vineyard planted with 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc, at the foothills of the Saint-Émilion plateau. Nicolas Audebert and the wine-making team from Château Canon work with the same precision and dedication on Croix Canon, as they do the Grand Vin from meticulous plot-by-plot management, manual sorting tables as well as well-integrated oak. Such commitment has seen Croix Canon become one of the leading wines in the appellation – a wine not to be overlooked! 2016 is a blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc, and is matured in 25% new oak.
