Chateau De Sancerre Clos Du Roy

A single-vineyard Sancerre from Château de Sancerre. It comes from Clos du Roy, a south-facing plot that’s one of the estate’s most prized sites, and it’s 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. In the glass it’s pale yellow with green glints. The nose has fresh citrus, white flowers and a distinctive flinty edge. The palate is firm and lively, with salty minerality and a long, citrus-fresh finish. It’s lovely with oysters, fresh goat cheese, sea bass or an asparagus risotto.
