San Roman Prima

Bodegas San Román is situated in the Toro region of Castilla y León, in northwestern Spain. Owned by Bodegas Mauro, it was established in 1997 with the aim of capturing the distinctive soil characteristics of the Toro region – loose and stony, with a clay subsoil that crucially retains water, essential in such a hot and dry environment. ‘Prima’ is a blend of Tinta de Toro, Garnacha, and other red grape varieties. Expect a nose with bright fruitiness complemented by delicate floral notes. Its vigour, vibrancy, and fleshiness contribute to a refined wine with an elegant structure.
