Telmont Brut Champagne

This is from an estate that can trace its existence back to before WWI. Made mostly of the 2017 vintage, this is a blend of 43% Chardonnay, 37% Pinot Meunier, and 20% Pinot Noir. The nose shows bright green apples, cream, and a bit of citrus. The palate is light with moderate acid and a flavor set of apples, citrus, and cream. 6.7 grams Disgorged 2021. Marked by honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla on the nose with an elegant foam. Plentiful in baked fruits: Mirabelle plum with a slight spice on the mid-palate that gives way to a long candied tropical-fruit and brisk mineral finish.
